East Meets West

Here's a great view of the Cohoes NY Falls. These falls are viewable from my son's home! The two sides of our country are so very different in landscape, colors, mountains, waterways, etc....So, I've decided to give you, the viewer, examples of east meets west. IF you see a photograph you just love, contact me. You can get this image, for example, in all different sizes, in canvas, in metallic, framed, unframed...Just let me know!

East - Here's another view of the Cohoes Falls in NY State.

West - Here's a photo of part of the Colorado River
in the little town of Nelson Nevada...

West - Another view of Nelson Nevada!

Here's a photograph of my son Joe fishing at his Grandparents
home in North Beach Maryland on the Chesapeake Bay!

And Here's a photograph of my son Joe fishing at an
outlet of Lake Meade. Tough to beat that Chesapeake Bay Photo!

When at the Cohoes Falls in NY State, I carefully took a photo of a painting of the falls that displayed the trade and commercial
activities that occurred around the 1830's to 1840's.

This is a photo I took of the falls in 2012. My editing program has a "time travel" feature which allows me to take a photo and change
it into a specific era.  This is what my photo would have looked like
back in the 1840's, but with a little less contrast and definition.

Here's a challenge for the "west"....The Chesapeake Bay
morning sunrise August 2013!
